Screaming Mimi

'A great dame with a Great Dane'. This is like a late noir/early giallo fusion that revolves around a big dog (named Devil), a stripper (named Yolanda), a statue, and, of course, murder. It has a strong giallo feel to it that fans of the genre should find appealing. Anyway, it's a lot of fun to watch, but as Gypsy said, 'don't touch the candy, junior'.

'screaming mimi' sounds much more interesting. i was taken in by the lush colors in 'a kiss...' and robert wagner was so cold and smooth.

No, it was good but if they had thrown in plenty of dark shadows and some fog I would have really liked it. Duel in the Sun has been on my watch list for a long long time...

I didn't care too much for Lady in the Lake - almost gave it 2 stars - but I added 1 star for the novel approach even though it kind of annoyed me. It would have been much better without the gimmick imo.
