The reasons why I choose a movie to be one of my favorites are very personal. Even when I know the movie has a poor script or a bad production, if this movie touches me in any way, this is a reason to be a favorite one. I can rate a movie with five stars, but it don’t mean this movie is one of my favorites. I can rate another movie with, I don’t know, three stars, but this movie can be one of my favorites. So, the way I see some movies and think they’re good is very very personal and I don’t intend to be a specialist or anything, I just want to appreciate the good things that the seventh art brings to us ;-)
