Alex Frias Haro is a film critic in Mexico City. He has been writting for 5 years in magazines (Cinepremiere, 24 x Segundo, La Tempestad, Rolling Stone, ….), newspapers (Uno Más Uno, Provincia) and web sites (Cinevertigo.com, SessióContinua.com). He’s also contributed for radio shows like Cinergis and Insomnios Perplejos (radio UNAM), and for “Corte y Queda” movie- club in Mexico City.

Finalist at the 6th contest “Do you want to be a Film Critic?”, organized by the Spanish magazine “Guía del Ocio”, and winner of the second place in “What movies are you seeing?” movie-critic contest, organized by the CIGCITE (International Center of Cinema and Television Scriptwriting), where he also took scripwriting curses.

He has interviewed French cinema celebs, like Christopher Lambert, Linda Hardy, Ludivine Sagnier, Vahina Giocante, Marilyne Canto, Romain Duris,…, and held encounters with Hollywood film stars like Tom Cruise, Bruce Willis, Tommy Lee Jones, Kevin Spacey, Matt Damon, Clive Owen, Will Smith,….
