Never Let Me Go

Well-made with great performances, in many ways a nice companion piece to DEATH WATCH. Too bad the film is too short to allow us to sit with the characters and get a feel for their lives, and the relationship between the central characters is reduced to its too-bare essentials.

I have to say his short film LA RICOTTA is my favorite of his so far, but I’m very impressed with THE GOSPEL ACCORDING TO ST. MATTHEW which is really a must see. THEOREM, despite being one of his most popular films, is in fact my least favorite. It is simply way too abstract for my taste.
