hats off for xavier dolan! I've just seen 'j'ai tue ma mere' and I can't get over the fact that he's only 20! The man's a genius, I can't wait to see his next projects!

Hi, Godard...hm..well, the classic is 'Breathless' a big influence on nearly everyone since, but also 'A Bande Apart' and my favourite is possibly 'Vivre Sa Vie.' 'Aplhavile' is a bizzarre sci-fi tribute to film noir. I really enjoyed 'Pierrot Le Fou' as well, it's a brightly coloured film, and always compelling. I find his later, more politically-oriented films very dull. Don't expect narrative cohernece but Godard is always visually interesting. You must let me know what you think if you see these. :)

No problem about replying, would be rude if I didn't. Have you been to the Lake District? You really need to if you haven't, and if you have, then you need to go more! I love it up there. I imagine Romania has some nice places to go walking?
