Charles Quinn Frutos is a writer/director originally from San Jose, California, where he collaborated with several Indie filmmakers, learning the ins and outs of production. He moved to Portland, Oregon with the intention of going to the NW Film Center. Instead he ended up at Portland State University where he studied Television writing under actor-turned-writer Thom Bray and Screenwriting under Charles Deemer. This is also where he met producer Ryan Gard. He has written, directed the short films: “Smile.”, “Night Moves”, “Loved By You”, “All Roads Lead Home”. He directed and co-wrote the award winning short film “After the Party”. He also directed “Walking at Night”. He has also written and directed his first award winning music video for the song “D.O.A” by the metal band Titarius. He is currently in post production on his latest short film “Because You’re Mine”.
