I am still, at this late stage of life, a constant work in progress. I grew weary of re-inventing myself, so now, I am climbing the enigmatic mountain top to reveal my true destiny for this thing called, life. Movies have always been the touchstone to tether my nostalgia, to generate my angst, to inspire my idealism, and also, to intensify my envy. My envy for those fortunate enough to have the luxury to either pen, create, or star in a medium that could influence so many people; even if it was to make smoking ‘cool’ for a while. A great movie to me is one that provokes conversation, that distracts us (even if for a moment) from our archaic lives, and for me, a great movie makes me yearn for a better life.
