Will you be seeing Transformers 2? almost 3 years ago

Did we really another 2hr and 30min movie about robots smacking each other upside the head? Though most of that running time will contain needless exposition, half-assed “character development”, lame comedy bits and many low angle shots of government agents getting out of helicopters in slo-mo.

I’ll be seeing The Hurt Locker because, at least, Katherine Bigelow knows how to direct action.

Most impressive one-take tracking shot? almost 3 years ago

I’ll add another one that hasn’t been mentioned: the opening shot of Johnnie To’s Breaking News.

The Works of David Lynch, Best to Worst almost 3 years ago

1. Mulholland Drive
2. The Straight Story
3. The Elephant Man
4. Twin Peaks (the series)
5. Blue Velvet
6. Eraserhead
7. Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me
8. Wild At Heart
9. Lost Highway
10. Inland Empire

As fitting for such a divisive director, I consider 1-5 brilliant to strong, while 6-10 ranges from interesting mess to completely unwatchable.
