Oh, i'm afraid I haven't seen those films. I'm mostly farmiliar with Allen's most recent films, like Vicky Cristina Barcelona and Match Point, and of course Annie Hall. I'll have to watch those one day when I get a chance. :)

A King In New York by Chaplin is a vastly underrated film. A biting satire of the 1950s, this movie manages to bear his signature stamp by being both extremely sad and funny as well. Each emotion is balanced by the other to arrive at the famous Chaplin pathos.
