Allowing people to upload film stills and using a voting system like last.fm would be useful. It would provide fans their say in the picture and would help to change things up with pictures getting voted up and down. Just set some sizing guidelines and if anyone posts anything that is ureleated, inappropriate or spoiling it can be flagged and voted down.
Really, anything that lets the user affect the site more is better. And letting us police it would work too. Look to last.fm for guideance! That site works and keeps the fans happy.
And the Photoshop filters… Some improved design would be nice! And maybe artists could be commissioned to draw things for the style section! It would make The Auteurs totally awesome!
I was iffy about submitting the Straight to Hell photo over Grace too! But I think that stills should be more indicative of the films. And I’ll look for a better quality version of The Manhattan Love Suicides. Love this thread!

you know it’s funny that you say that about Interiors because i almost gave you a higher quality version of the one that’s already up. so here’s that one.
i don’t know why my still for Casino Royale was replaced, but here’s a better quality non stretched version of the new one. (and some more caps i like more)
I hate to see how upset Augusto is about Mean Streets I couldn’t find his exact stills but here’s the highest quality possible image of what I think is an iconic enough shot to be the main still.
