well i only asked cause i did want to here your british opinion. saw it and i was a bit surprised as to how much i really really liked it but i do in fact am a sucker for a good character pieces. though i will say Firth might've just earned himself a well deserved Oscar(not that it means much when you have Sandra Bullock winning em too). great duo performances by Firth and Rush and it would be a total travesty if both don't win. truly great complimentary performances and a nice subtle turn from Helen in other words i gave it a 5 star rating.
