Aww Chris :) rarely do people check out or like my recommendations in general so i am happy that you do! I'm not saying this in return, i love all the movies you've suggested to me, Kes and L'avventura are masterpieces. I'm looking forward to seeing the other two films from the trilogy and also Kieslowski's Three Colors trilogy that you've recommended, school's kept me real busy lately >.<

I never thought I'd see the day either! I watched it with my two best friends this weekend and after seeing the U.S. version as well the perfection of the original is totally cemented in my mind. Naomi Watts is great in it though. Everything that once seemed mean spirited to me just seems charming from Haneke now, as ridiculous as that sounds
