At once, both one of Truffaut's most experimental films and one of his most enjoyable.
I do prefer Infernal Affairs - but not by much. My favorite remake.
I've always had a very strong feeling about the importance of narrative in cinema. Many people say "the story is everything." But a film like Linda Linda Linda proves that it's not the story, but the way in which the story is told that makes a narrative film an enjoyable experience.
This is probably my favorite of Tsai's films... though I'm almost equally fond of The Wayward Cloud.
