Movies are that rare art form that go straight to the brain seemingly, sometimes, without meaning. Later, after it’s settled, the actual significance is conveyed. I was first moved by this as a twelve-year-old boy when Stanley Kubrick revealed to me his poetic vision of human kind. I’m still startled by his message today.
