First time I watched Taxi Driver and Raging Bull. I didn’t even know who Robert De Niro or Martin Scorsese were. My dad just liked these movies and I thought they were going to be boring.
What was the deal with Boyz N the Hood, I thought it was going to be similar to a Spike Lee joint but it was so plain and uninvolving. The soundtrack even, contained no N.W.A and for some reason, SPOILER I guess, Ice Cube fades at the end in the most cheesiest gangster death of all time.
