They have just released the '33 Alice.... As I remember it from early t.v. screenings, it was a delightful closer-to-the-book interpretation. The 50's version with script partially by Aldous Huxley for Disney was a bit dumbed down for kids, but started an ALICE industry. And don't forget DREAMCHILD with the fabulous Henson Wonderland creatures and brilliant Coral Brown as the later-in-life PTS'd Alice. Thanks BFI!
