I did too. In fact, I did not really like any of the characters that much.
Harrowing and superbly acted. A tight, elegant 3-act structure.
IMHO, the greatest filmmaker of all time.
Probably the best ending I've ever seen (or experienced).
My favorite part is when Orson Bean asks John Cusack which of these is a letter: Craig: Um... that's not a letter, sir. Lester: Damn you're good!
Nothing will ever match the beauty of those candle-lit scenes.
Am i the only one who hated the way Anna Karina's character was treated?
One of the scariest films I've ever seen.
You are a cold-hearted cyborg if you do not love this movie.
What i love about this film is that it doesn't feel the need to really force Antoine to go anywhere or do anything. It follows rather than leads, and lets Antoine be the focus, not the conjured storyline.
I HATED THIS MOVIE. A mindless exercise in trite style.
