Ahahahahahah.
^^^^^^ Yo Is ALL that "SYNOPSIS" really necessary 4 this page???....some1 needs 2 edit that shit. You might as well have Robert Osborne recite the script then for that.
Its not funny Bijoux :'( Some gaylord mubian fuckin posted the "cliff notes" version of the script as the "Synopsis".
Whoever did that dubious shit sould be bitch slapped by the spirit of Hitchcock,str8 up.
Oh the synopsis part is not funny, but your Robert Osborne line is hilarious :) It does suck when a synopsis gives away too much :(
Thanks B ;) I know,I was nearly shattered but.....*gets in his "king like pose* ...I'm a man yo,so ill live....... I'm sure glad I aint find out about Milo&Otis,Fried Green tomatoes or terms of endearment this way <3......that would of crushed the Macho King
A Vary insightful,Vary funny and even inspiring doc.
Crap+ Paris Hilton=Unholy Crap......and I'm not even gonna comment on the "Monster Head" shit, smh
Really fascinating doc,@ only 62 mins long it covers quite a bit and that works 2 its advantage because itheres so much information 2 absorb and ponder on.vary cool and insightful.
The amount of Amazing things that Buster did in this shows u what a master of his craft he truly was.Just one of Keaton's many contributions 2 Cinema. So he gets the Props;)
Keaton was so innovative,its amazing.
This movie is distrubing as fuck lol
Honestly 2 me,aside from the hauntingly beautiful opening credit sequence, and the equally Hauntingly beautiful Female lead(Cot damn!).....and 4 a vary brief scene a vary creepy looking clown taking flowers 2 the cemetery, aside from that I believe fellow Mubian Christopher SmIth summed it up pretty accurately 4 me on the wall posts here.
What a amazing powerful debut
A cool b flick from hollywood golden era days, interesting 2 Know it was mostly shot in only 10days
Some good old fun,the Macho King approves
Under appreciated noir.show it some love yo ;)
It wouLd of been really fuckin cool,if they had ghostface, rea, and poppa wu in the one with bill murray.intersting concept. tho.some vignettes are more better then others.good choice 2 shoot it in B&W.
*Loan guy:"You touch me and ill call a policemen!"...Bogart's reply"if I touch you,you'll call a ambulance" lol
Doesn't fuck with Brownings's version.Laughably bad 4 the most part so there is some "entertainment vaule"....atleast 4 1 viewing lol.
"Your right, love without faIth like religion without faIth doesn't amount to vary much"
Lol yo this is so laughably bad,
This film was way ahead of its time in so many ways.I truly am happy they were able 2 restore what was here.
Leslie Caron ruined It 4 me 4real(except 4 when we 1st are introduced 2 her hehehe)....there mos def are moments of beauty in here with the last sequence,if only it had atleast 1 other performance on THAT level then I would of gave it 5stars but 2 me it sags and is kinda uneven. But I dug the Buster Keaton inspired opera dream ;)
Terrence Malick paid Homage 2 this in "The Tree of Life".a vary striking and telling film by Brakhage.
Mea West oozes sexuality in this and is the main draw.Cary Grant has yet 2 find his swagger.
A Eye opening doc, what's captured in this film sould be seen by any person remotely interested in documentaries or any 1 who doesn't know what real labor and hardship is.it really immerses you in there life and culture, there struggle becomes your struggle.
I grew up seeing this countless times yo ! <3
Well executed/use of CGI,Poorly executed/use of CGI.A paradox,no?
Woody's love letter 2 Paris and the "Movable Feast" Clique(among others).I Vary much enjoyed it,but I still don't dig Owen Wilson in here 4 the most part...Hemmingway is so fuckin Cool and badass(as he sould be!) in here lol,Adrian Brody as Salvatore Deli was great-plus I love the whole bit with Luis Bunuel/"The Exterminating Angel" is really funny 2.Let's not forget how "ripe" Marion Cotillard is looking in here <3
I was torn between giving this film 2 or 3 stars,I settled on 3(but just bearly)....its not a bad film but its does feel quite a bit imbalanced.I see a heavy Tati influence distInctly in this film with its humor in parts but it does feel out of tone with the rest of the film. There's cliche's in the film but the characters are likable and I really enjoy the location and the cinimatogophy (even if its under utilized).
This is such a shitty ass sequel. It does have some scary moments in it but the films story/structural edIting/and flat out outlandish-ness just ruins it 4me.It's mere existence taints the original and the American remake.
A hot garbage juice piece of shit mess of a movie, its like a rip off of modern warfare with some robot ET type things(matter of fact I rather be playing that then watching this bs).there's so many things in this film that executed so fuckin poorly, how u gonna make a generic sci fi epic on a budget?....what a waste of "talent" and time...
Wes......seriously.....what the fuck is this shit? That's the extent of my feelings, its so wack its entertaining and I honestly have no idea what was going on lol
Agreed it does wrap up a lil 2 "smoothly" @ the end but I still enjoyed this film.yes some parts are over the top and come out of nowhere, but If u dig melodrama and you know its a nick ray film then u sould know what ur in 4.I thought there was some good performances in here and let's not 4get how fuckin bad ass and cool robert ryan is ;) Nicholas Ray is unfairly underrated and doesn't get talked about enough
