Joseph Molea, MD is a 1986 graduate of the SUNY at Buffalo Faculty of Medicine. He completed a General Surgical residency at the University of Illinois in 1990. He spent ten years in a medical administrative career as Case Coordinator at The Florida Medical Association’s Physicians Resource Network, the impaired professional monitoring program of the state of Florida, under the late Roger A. Goetz, MD and the balance at HealthCare Connection of Tampa, Inc, a specialized addiction treatment facility in Tampa, Florida gave where he finished as assistant Medical Director. Dr. Molea is credentialed in substance abuse prevention, education, evaluation, treatment, and advocacy. In 2008 he became one of the first physician’s in the country to be Board Certified by the American Board of Addiction Medicine as an addictionist. His first novel (Duck Blood Soup, Mystery & Suspense Presss, ⓒ 2003), delt with themes of addiction and self-determination, and addiction. He hopes to, one day, write the screen play and see his work translated to film
