After graduating from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts with a BFA in Screenwriting in 2001 I went on to write, co-produce, edit and direct a feature film entitled REFUGE that played at various independent and international film festivals.
Following this I worked on a number of short form works, including CANNIBAL, co-directed with Naman Ramachandran, which screened at the Clermont-Ferrand festival in 2004.
While no longer pursuing cinematic work I continue to follow films closely but am generally disappointed by most of the work being produced today and often find myself re-watching old favorites.
I’m holding out for a renaissance in auteur-driven cinema spawned by new, online distribution platforms…
