I joined and created my profile in a website called “the auteurs”, and that was for a reason.
It is true, I had a little problem reading the word for the first time, but then I went to high school and college and the problem seemed to be resolved. So, now I find myself having problems reading mubi. Should I ask Daddy Yankee for linguistic help?
One of the main reasons why I was so impressed with this web site was because the lack of vulgarity, offenses, troll behavior and personal attacks among users, who actively write in the forums. Today, for the first time I have read things like that in this place. This web site was and I truly hope still is an oasis for cinephiles and filmmakers whose main focus is Cinema. I do not care that much about the size or name of that oasis, as long as the water is still drinkable.
coming from a person, whose country has at least 702 army bases spread in the world, and 3 of them in my own country, the idea of competition under rule of law sounds just cynic, opportunistic and morbid.
