Agreed about The Wire . . . arguably the greatest television “drama” ever, and I am a big Sopranos guy. Per Season 5: Yes, the serial killer angle got a bit over-the-top but all of the other “newspaper” stuff was tremendous (coming from a life-long newspaper reporter).
