Deserves to be mentioned as one of the top animated films of the year with Up, Coroline and Fantastic Mr. Fox. The animation was amazing and the story was fun.

Irresponsible film making.

This film suffers from the awful Coppola segment. The Scorsese and Allen segments are top notch.

I'm not a big fan of special effects but I thought these were amazing. I also thought the story was strong and the documentary angle worked well. Plus, if you take away the aliens, you still have a really good film about the South African apartheid.

I laughed more in the first ten minutes than I have in a long time. That being said, I found the last ten minutes predictable and a bit cliché. Larry David was great.

Interesting concept that failed to execute. Will Ferrell had a few pleasant moments playing the "Woody Allen" character as did Wallace Shawn. However, the rest of the performances, especially in the dramatic portion of the film, lacked the punch found in most of Allen's films. This film suffers from poor casting, possibly due to a tight budget. A rare misfire from a legendary director.
