I like watching films, fairly obvious or I wouldn’t be here! I shy away from the Hollywood CGI-flash-bang(although sometimes they do get it right and I allow myself a guilty pleasure.) and prefer more thought-provoking viewing. I enjoy foreign language films, the occasional brit-flick and shorts. I like films about the self-destruction of the spirit/soul. I guess that makes me sound like a miserable sod/pretentious twat and I guess you’re probably right. But I will at least admit to not liking Tarkovsky. And you’ll never hear me say the words “Neo-”, “avant-garde” or “post-modern”.
