Some people will wonder what's so great about Abraham Valley- it hit all the right spots with me, so i hope you're not disappointed.

I enjoyed L'Avventura a lot more on 2nd and then 3rd viewing. Mirror (Tarkovsky) was also a grower, though i liked it a lot first time. Pather Panchali improved a bit too. Of Mizoguchi films, i appreciated Life of Oharu more with further viewings. Some like Sansho the Bailiff, The Green Ray, Alice in the Cities, Abraham Valley and Maborosi i felt lovesick for at once..
