I personally love the criterion release of EQUINOX. I just wanted to hear some feed back from other criterion fans, negitive or posative.

Soderberg's best films almost 3 years ago

After viewing Traffic for the first time when I was 11 I have felt a strong connection to soderberg’s work and that perticular film. I would consider schizopolis his second best film. I would like to see the opinions of others who love soderberg’s movies on his top 5 best films.

WHICH DIRECTORS...NOT...CURRENTLY REPRESENTED IN THE CRITERION COLLECTION DO YOU WANT TO SEE INCLUDED? almost 3 years ago

I really want to see the coen brothers on the criterion. I agree firmly that Danny Boyle should be on there. Sam Raimi would be really cool to see on the criterion catalogue. I no it’s a little too main streem but maybe even something by Judd Apatow.

What modern movies do you think should be on criterion that aren't? almost 3 years ago

I realized there isn’t that many modern films available on the criterion. I want to see something on their like little miss sunshine or something. Some Tarantino on their to. What modern movies do you think should be on criterion that aren’t?

growing up I idolized Alfred Hitchcock, specifically the birds. Do you believe that the birds is worthy of a criterion release?

The killer or hard boiled almost 3 years ago

this is something I have debated for a long time. I can’t decide whether the killer or hard boiled are the best john woo film since they are obviousely superior, but I do enjoy bullet in the head and a better tomarrow.

Do the right thing for best picture almost 3 years ago

when do the right thing was released it was not nominated for best picture or best director. In my opinion this is one of the best American films of all time but did not reseave these nominations. Doese any one believe that do the right thing deserved at least both nominations including it’s two othe nominations of best original screenplay and best supporting actor (Danny Aiello)?

Jean Painleve's best almost 3 years ago

did any one buy the criterion’s release of Painleve’s 23 short films. I want to buy it but am a bit sceptacle. Is it worth the $31? also what do you think is Painleve’s best film, for me it’s the love life of the octopus but I also truly love the sea urchin.

I don’t think Schizopolis is one of the worst films on criterion. It’s an edgy experiment that to me shows the real ambition of Soderberg

Dogs or Fiction? almost 3 years ago

I am a big Tarantino fan. I do enjoy his new films like kill bill and the awesome grindhouse, But I believe his best films are of course Pulp Fiction And Resrvior Dogs. Fiction Is icredible and extremely original, but Dogs feels more intense and it also is a low budget film which you can’t tell when watching it. Which is better, Pulp Fiction or Resrvoir Dogs?
