Philosophy over 2 years ago

I think directors who question the meaning of existence or religion gain alot of great interpretations from viewers. Directors like Robert Bresson, Ingmanr Bergman, Andrei Tarkovsky, or Kurosawa. However alot of times there’s a realist approach to this or an abstract one. One of the greatest realist filmmakers who cared more about characters study than just mere ideas was Jean Renoir. There are artists such as Fellini or Herzog who use a more of a fantasy like approach to bring up pholosophical issues.
