About Me

The first movies I remember seeing were from The Golden Age of Mexican Cinema back in Guadalajara, Mexico. I grew up watching Luis Buñuel’s movies as well as Ismael Rodriguez’s and Juan Bustillo de Oro’s films. They inspired my love for black and white movies, surrealism, realism and neo-realism.
Oh! and I love Film Noir…
I have no aspirations other than to see as many movies as possible. I live and learn through cinema.

Hola Alex, un gusto saber que compartimos la misma opinión. Battle of Algiers fue una película que me impactó, la ví hace mucho, pero recién le di la importancia que se merece en el sentido que hasta estos días no ha dejado de reflejar algo muy contemporáneo. Veo que tambien has estado vieno el cine italiano, que bien, yo en esas ando también. Un saludo desde LA.
