All this chatter that it is OOP due to rights issues, but I see no source cited as back up to this claim! What is the source of your information? Seriously, why would Criterion announce a Blu-Ray one week and then announce the complete cancelation of the title from their cataolg another?

Up-date:
Well, now I see the fact that under Available Editions on Criterion’s site it says “Out of Print.”
Then, on Criterion’s Blu-Ray page, Ran is no longer listed:

Does this mean we won’t get the title from Criterion in the near future? Not necessarily, but maybe…

The best japanese anime movies you have seen! about 2 years ago
Good stuff there, Rudy. My wife and I have many Miyazaki anime films on DVD. HIs work is so transporting and human.
