De Palma seems not be very popular to all cinephiles, to me he is of the same category of the 70-mavericks (Friedkin, Altman, even Coppola and Scorsese),. There is nothing wrong he did a lot of suspense and he was strongly influenced by
He’s not my top favourite, but he was consistingly making good cinema though, except maybe the later ones (Black Dahlia, Snake Eyes…), but even those have their merities and entertain.
