Kenji, are you talking about the scene where the main character corners the rival gang chief in the police courtyard. I remember two great shots from that right before he fires – the formerly top chief on the ground begging for mercy.
Agree that the female lead wasn’t particularly attractive. Couldn’t understand why every kept going for her.

Not having any space nor much money write now, I only have a DVD copy of “2001: A Space Odyssey”.
