My review of Haywire: http://romancinema.wordpress.com/2012/01/23/haywire/
Admittedly this film does not have memorable dialogue, but who goes to see Star Wars for the acting? That being said, I think that this film, in addition to the rest of the prequels, is largely misjudged. George Lucas is by no means an idiot, nor is Hayden Christensen. "Shattered Glass" is a testament to Christensen's talent. I think there is subtext to Anakin's dialogue, especially in quieter moments.
Because computer generated imagery has advanced significantly and become so commonplace in most recent motion pictures, do you think it has the ability to have aesthetic value?
A very underrated, psychologically driven film. Few blockbusters in recent memory have turned the protagonist into the antagonist as this film does.
Allen's European influences (Bergman, Antonioni) at their most evident and most effective. An ensemble tour de force backs a strong script and great cinematography from the master Gordon Willis.
The best sci-fi film since "Children of Men" and certainly one of the best sci-fi films of the decade.
