Some fair points Justin. And to be honest I'm probably being rather unfair to Jonze - especially as I haven't seen the movie!! I completely agree with you about the swathes of people not growing up. It's just I think cinema's role in this is neglgible. The problem and the solution are far more fundamental. Too big a subject to go into now. However, for a good book on this theme try Susan Jacoby's, 'Age of American Unreason'. In the end despite all my protestations and following our discussion I will probably end up watching WTWTA!!!
