Big Fish

i don't get along with tim burton stuff. the humour, aesthetic etc i find tacky, and it frustrates me. i struggled to watch this all the way through and stopped paying attention sometimes, but when i did get to the end it got me and i cried for personal and general reasons. People do distort reality to suit themselves sometimes, it can be unhealthy and alienating, but it can also be a mercy and a joyful right.
