Really, good, just caught it for the first time in 10 years. Everything works together to make a great film. Probably his best film, oddly one of his most emotional films despite the comedy.
A masterpiece. Ok, it's all about miscommunication, bad faith and selling out: not exactly the warmer topics of cinema. The way the movie was made directly addresses the problems the characters are having, hence, a masterpiece. Worth watching more than once. Motor, silenzio!
Terrible film, a sad end to a great career. It plays like a bad S&M novel from the early 20th century... oh, wait! Skip it and see either The Shining or The Night Porter instead.
