In hypothetical coupled with Kon Satoshi's Tokyo Godfathers, yes lovely.
Great short! The animation is simply breathtaking and narratively, it manages to keep iteresting all the way through.
Somewhat compelling, but yeah "Tryppy" as hell
After all, thanks for not adding subtitles to this I guess XD
Other than mosquito, which felt very "polygonal", pretty good animation as if it were a mix of 2d & 3d techniques
Such a simple and old concept turned to something so meaningful and lyrical. Awesome job!
Contemplativeness at its most beautiful
Interesting framing, it's as much of a character as any of the humans in this short.
Nice choreography :D
Amazing treatment of archive footage!
Too much digitalness make it tiring after a while
Whoa this is what I mean by whimsical. Also I'm sure that stuffed-bird puppet will give me nightmares
Reminded me of the discussion in "Nostalgia de la Luz" about the parllels between earth (and sea) and sky. One can perceive infinite space and passage of time equally by staring above to the clouds and stars or looking below to the vast oceans and lands. I agree with all the other commenters, this is great.
Though it's far from being a a novel idea, this one unfolds gently and has a bit of a dreamy feeling. Nice enough
I wish my dogs were vegetarian too :)
Especially liked how the simple up-down motion of the little guy, matches the fade in/fade outs and day/night sequences if you know what I mean
"Mi papá vende cortinas y mi mamá es ama de casa" <3
That's what it is all about rythm, timing, playfulness with the film material itself. Loved it
Incredibly beautiful, really nice cinematography through the film and yeah, Boras Altas simply owns this art piece.
Great stylistic exercise, every shot of the film has some sort of excitement to it.
Yet another reason to love Sorin. Truly evocative lighting and cinematography along with a nicely paced narrative.
Social self-destruction + a dash of torture porn. Way to go Rowe...
Indeed!
His Private Hungary films sound so great. Really looking forward to see them
Quite memorable segments... for the better or worst
Nice to see you've increased the presence of Muller's here
The part near the end where Sister Ruth is stalking Clodagh is unbelievably beautiful and scary.
A mi parecer, una película bastante forzada. Sentí muy fingidas y fuera de contexto las metáforas visuales que intenta incluir el director, tan sólo para agregar un aparente profundidad que no está allí.
Finally on the site!
Gotta love that unusual family :)
