That movie needs to be trimmed by about 30-40 minutes. It gets boring…

Has anyone seen The Friends of Eddie Coyle??????????? about 4 years ago

Seen parts of it on cable years ago. The print/tape they were using was in terrible shape so I hope this version will do it justice.
PS
The novel is great- short and intense. True noir.

Privilige blew my mind when I was 14. I did not know movies could be so intelligent AND cool. Film that made me go into film school.

The Highs and Lows of Filmmaking about 4 years ago

Kubrick -
“Anyone who has ever been privileged to direct a film also knows that, although it can be like trying to write ‘War and Peace’ in a bumper car in an amusement park, when you finally get it right, there are not many joys in life that can equal the feeling.”

Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford about 4 years ago

I enjoyed it, altough, some things seemed over explained and rather obvious. I prefer the Sam Fuller version…

George Romero about 4 years ago

Martin may be his greatest film. It is such an American (as opposed to Hollywood) film that it feels foreign. Still amazing after all this years.
