I think Advent Children really pulled it off. However, things could have been different if it was a live movie.
I would love to see a World of Warcraft film, but a mega budget film demands a film director who will deliver. So far…none from Hollywood shows the potential.
Almost every Kim Ki Duk films are my favorite and a few Chan Wook films too. I am quite surprised not to see the Chan Wook fan boys here. Usually when you ask a question like this…the fan boys get squirming into the forum.
I would have included those countries if the question demands multiple answers. Seriously..Tarkovsky, Eisenstein and Kieslowski are a few of my favorites.
Like most anime fan here…I prefer Hayao Miyazaki films but I also like a particular film by Mamoru Oshii(Ghost in the Shell director) entitled Angel’s Egg (Tamago no Tenshi). I was totally washed away by the surrealism of that film.
Interesting thread here….I still have not decided which director should I pick for Ender’s Game by Orson Scott Card, but I am leaning towards Ridley Scott on this. I miss the atomsphere of Blade Runner.
I have seen the film a number of times but it seems to me that every time I watch this film it brings a sense that I am seeing it for the first time again. I always wanted to believe that the woman in blonde wig is Faye (although I knew she’s not) and that the original May is the stewardess. Has anyone ever experienced this too?

Is there a point where an opinion is no longer an opinion? over 2 years ago
If it is founded on the premise of improbability.
If the one who expresses the opinion shows signs and symptoms of mental illness.
Well….Drew had already laid out a perfect example.
