A fun documentary about a fashion photographer with great editing

Watched Citizen Kane in film class last Thursday; the narrative structure is a puzzle with "Rosebud" being the missing piece, and that's what makes it work.

There may be times when we're able to redeem ourselves, to have our sins put beside us, but in the case of A Clockwork Orange, at what cost is that even possible?

Source Code is a really great sci-fi flick. While the story and characters are all good, the heart of the film lies at the science behind what's happening. It might get confusing at first, but it all makes sense as Source Code progresses.

I felt that I was unable to finish this movie because it lost me. Some things made little to no sense and the flashbacks were so ridiculously long that they strayed from the main story.

As beautiful and harrowing as it is, I feel that Walkabout contains some elements of Stanley Kubrick.

At first, I thought that The Illusionist would follow in the footsteps of Jacques Tati's other films. However, it ends up becoming bittersweet; the last part being depressing.

Somehow, Rosemary's Baby feels like Hitchcock...

The first two-thirds of the movie is just your typical, good-old Coen Bros. film but with some slashed-off fingers. The latter is pretty depressing and has a different ending from the John Wayne movie.

It's awesome, 'nuff said.

Kuroneko is so dark and mysterious, it feels like an episode of The Twilight Zone...from Japan.

In the manner of the Beatles' "Help", "Head" gleefully depicts the Monkees trying to escape commercialism.

It may not make any sense, but then again, that's Dr. Seuss for you, so I guess that's forgivable.

I'm glad Hot Fuzz put this to shame.

Not only funny, but surprisingly packed to the teeth.
