I like movies involving: star-crossed lovers, ridiculous bank heists/kidnapping, new-wavers, teenagers, con artists, the Holocaust, aliens, dysfunctional families (the humorous or the heartbreaking,) badass females, complete trash, revenge, lonely souls, 1980’s yuppies, monsters, ghosts, sarcastic youths, werewolves, punk rawk, drag queens, vampires, gothic mansions, time travel/traveling through dimensions, crime cases, court room drama, pretty people moving in slow motion, screaming, 1960’s anything, gore, valspeak, apocalyptic adventure, blurred reality, Lynchian darkness, babysitters in danger, twee rom coms, bright/tacky sets, and MURDER.
My all time favorite directors are: Woody Allen, Gregg Araki, Wes Anderson, David Lynch, Whit Stillman, Lena Dunham, Noah Baumbach, Michael Haneke, Quentin Tarantino, The Coen Brothers, Nicole Holofcener, John Waters, Nancy Meyers, Martin Scorsese, and Jan Švankmajer.
