Hi man, i'm going about righting a comparison between a classic film noir and a relatively modern interpretation of one. Iv chosen 'the killing' (1956) Kubrick, for my classic and 'chinatown' (1974) Polanski , for my more recent example. What would you say are the similarities and differences of both films relating to noir characteristics?
