yea drive was wicked, definitely my favorite this year. and yeah, saw point blank for the first time ever last week, i loved that one too. they definitely have a vibe shared between them. i loved lee marvin's character. it was almost getting a little kafka to a point, everyone just wouldn't understand he only wanted his money, nothing else, no one probably even would have had to die, actually probably every person who goes to died simply because of themselves trying to be sly. when drive comes out i'm going to do a double feature, watch taxi driver, then driver. it'll be excellent.
Ah I see, you'll have teh keep in touch man! I dig the TF flicks to a degree, mindless, shiny action is fun to watch. The homophobic, racist comedy yarn in those movies is completely fucking unnecessary though. Hoping if they choose to reboot it, like I'm sure they will, they'll have some sort of competence to them. Or I could just watch better films...haha.
