@ JP Belmondo, both! It’s my real name and when I was little I had a substitue teacher tell me my name was tom hanks’ character in JVsV so I went to the library and found it and it was love ever since.
That’s also a good idea, put joe vs the volcano on here :)

5. Alfred Hitchcock
6. Joel & Ethan Coen
7. Jean-Luc Godard
8. Francis Ford Coppola
9. David Lynch
10. Akira Kurosawa
not really in any particular order, i love them all. also Martin Scorsese, Michel Gondry, Spike Jonze, Ridley Scott, Kevin Smith, David Cronenburg, Woody Allen, Danny Boyle, Steven Spielburg, John Hughes, Ingmar Bergman, ect.
i love alot of directors for alot of different reasons. it might confuse someone why i would like Akira Kurosawa and Kevin Smith on the same level. but to me it’s just a matter of if i could sit locked in a room and watch all these directors movies over and over and over for the rest of my life.
but lets face the sad part. anyone who’s seen it probably isn’t the people rating it on netflix and imdb. some people just hate things from certain people, so they figure why not give something not even out a bad rating. it’s just a matter of if it’ll end up being deserving of it or not.
i love quentin tarantino, he’s like the ultimate movie fan that makes movies. inglourious basterds is the first time i’m kinda nervous of how it’s gonna go, but i’m going in with hopes high.
i only have a couple things about kubrick that i don’t like. i don’t like that spielburg directed A.I. instead of him and i don’t like that he didn’t come out with twice as many movies as he did in his life. other than that i love everything kubrick.

Top 3:
Dr. Strangelove
2001: A Space Odyssey
The Shining
Hard for me to pick though, like a few have said, all his movies are great. I wish I coulda seen Kubrick direct A.I. before he went.

Speed Racer about 3 years ago
Hated it in theaters, walked out. Only other film I walked out on was the good sheapard.
Saw it a few months after on Blu ray and actually thought it wasn’t half bad. Definitely not a great movie though, in my book, just decent.
No doubt it’s eye candy though.
