The end is so very sad...
SO excited for this one!!!
Tomorrow @filmlinc !
Missing you lovely lady...
Be sure to follow the filmmakers journey with this film at Garage Project #16 !
perhaps Antoni is best viewed in silence. To stand before his work, to think of it in context, and of his intentions is to giggle and gag out the words "muy feo." Damn those anarchists, we have to wait ten more years for a finished La Sagrada!
Perfection.
Over-hyped in aussie land? Felt underrated in USA. Great film. Lantanas are beautiful plants.
Must admit, the first half hour made me chuckle. Fourth star for Barbara. LOVED the VFX and Sound Design. Feathers in closing credits were a nice touch. Those dancer feet were not gnarly enough! Nina gets pedicures?
Epic Fun!
Please don't remake this movie! No one, ever!
I'm watching The Last Time I Saw Paris
Curious about this one. Anyone read Aimé Césaire "A Tempest" or José Enrique Rodó essay "Ariel"?
Studying with you and all the wonderful artists at Atlantic Theater Company was an honor. Thank you Mr. Macy for always sharing your wisdom with the world.
Josh is a delightful actor and a wonderful teacher too!
Emily Blunt is the best thing about this film.
I believe this short is on the DVD for "Case of the Grinning Cat" available at the Cineaste online shop. So sweet!
THE BATTLE OF CHILE must be on this database!
Preview party at Comic-Con rocked! Clips looked great. Did you get a taco from Michelle?
So hugely glad to see Stephen Dorff cast in this!
I saw a bootleg VHS too! Ah, those were good times.
I want to watch "Nu"
I was joking somewhat. I watch the movie and realized that the NU is also known as NOW title which am familiar with. Thanks anyway.
Had no idea the urban legend was true...or was it?
I jumped out of my seat at one point. Did you? Such a fun movie!
Deborah Kerr is one of the greatest actresses of all time.
Just watched this again yesterday. Nice to see New York the way I'll always remember it in my mind, having grown up here. I miss the old apple...but I digress. This movie stands out among vamp flicks; it doesn't adhere to rules of vampire folklore. It makes its own rules, seducing you slowly with its mysterious leading lady. By the end of the film viewers may just find themselves addicted to the main characters.
Gilliam is one of my favorite directors. This film is visually beautiful but I think I'll have to add it to the mumblecore list.
Usually the reality of a scary movie is exaggerated or nonexistent. Reading the real life history of the hospital and the events that took place after 2001 adds to the psychological effect of this film. Huge props to the actors and crew for shooting on location. A sequel would have been great. Creepy, creepy.
Gorgeous film. I love the big fishy! He just loved the camera. What a great animal actor!
