Very glad you like the Something Sweet, Something Cool list, any suggestions welcome. I notice i need to redo some of the videos that have gone off, as often happens with youtube clips.

Ah that's tough. Their films have a rarefied magic in them, but perhaps something by Jacques Tati or Claire Denis might come close. I'm thinking, in particular, of Playtime and 35 Shots of Rum, of course for very different reasons.... Have you seen these?

Thanks for the follow. I have not seen Gates of Heaven, though it has been on my radar for a little while now. Some bands that I have been obsessed with lately are Pavement, Choking Victim and Rites of Spring. Are you familiar with / fans of any of them?
