thank you! another fellow lover of 'to the wonder' what do you reckon? why so much hate toward it? never saw so many 1 stars and 'pretentious' shouts before. why does he seem to rub people the wrong way? is it not an adorable film that talks without prejudice nor morality about love? and ain't that a good thing?

CCC just rubs some people the wrong way. I just let them pass over me though, cause I get a lot out of Malick's films, and this one's no exception.

Oh, thank you but it's just a scratch at the surface. There are much better lists on this site on the subject. But that calmness that you mention--I revel in this wonderful side effect of certain films. Call it calmness, Zen, revelation--it's that unique connection of a human brain to art that is ineffable.

I know this site pretty well and you're being a tad modest. Your list is amazing indeed. If there are lists that are filled with more films? Sure but that does not mean your lists sucks. On the contrary. I love that word: revel. Love it too. Ineffable indeed. :)
