Well, sir. Though I'd rather be sitting in your shoes right now--in post on what looks to be a really well-shot film. Those stills are as immaculate in framing and lighting as they are in (seeming) anger and energy. Want to see.
I was about to go through your favorite auteurs for my new list, but jesus 250+. Lord that's a little too much for just a quick comb through.
That's what happens when you try to watch all the films in the Director's Cup and World Cup--you end up with a ton of new favorites. There's one going on right now--the film are just starting to be posted, so get to watchin, man!
RE: Dan O'Bannon: Probably one of the most interesting interview subjects I've ever seen. He was a true joy to watch and listen to.
His interviews on the Alien DVD are great. You get to hear the whole evolution of the idea of the film.
