I can’t imagine someone who thinks Aguirre is boring. It’s one of the most exciting films I’ve seen. If you want to explore more of Herzog I would watch Even Dwarfs Started Small, The Enigma Of Kaspar Hauser, Nosferatu, Stroszek… or any of his documentaries like Fata Morgana, if you don’t like any of those he might be not the type of director for you.
