i spoke worlds to me. i'm all those characters. which might explain a bit too much about my love life and etc but let's not dwell. broke my heart. a festival of awkwardness and empty lives. i loved it 'cause i saw myself in pretty much every character. hardly a 'good' thing but yeah i loved it. maybe i'll write a review of it,. dunno. was too a bit too close to home. maybe i'll reveal too much writing about it. i dunno.

humm i dunno your seems more eclectic and i'm enjoying your sense of humour on your filmography comments, hence all the likes. and i like your name. am a sucker for every thing French. Altho you seem to hail from California. Never heard of Arcata before. Sounds nice. in fact: arcata = a regata (those yacht boat races you know?) . at least in my ears.

I just moved to Arcata about a year ago. Originally from Canada. Did you attend the Lisboa film fest last month? Did you see Leviathan? I'm dying to see it.

Oh i see. I just had never heard about that specific place. Oh so you're a Canadienne? Great. I did attend it but with so much choice some things have to be missed and i did miss that one. Sometimes one goes to a fest blindfolded. Without actually know what to see, not always easy to choose wisely. I should have seen more from the competition. I invested on Seidl and on some indie directors I like a lot Campos, Korine, Baumbach and I saw some Portuguese films. Now I heard i missed a good film. Hopefully some indie distributor will pick it up.

Wow. That's quite the small town huh? is it near to any major city? You like it there? Lisboa is quite big. i like it. I'm a city guy, myself. We have a cinematheque so i could not ask for better. 'afterschool' and 'simon killer' both directed by antonio campos, yes.

It's about 3hours to San Fran. Lisbon looks beautiful! Lucky! I saw After School and liked it. Have yet to see Simon Killer. Have you seen Upstream Color yet?

oh. still a long drive. I have a friend who resides in San Francisco. God i'd love to visit that part of the US. Lisboa is a beautiful lady as well. You should come and visit. I'm lucky alright. Afterschool was neat indeed. When you see 'simon killer' drop on by and gimme your 10 cents. Have not no...I wish i'd see it tho.

i doubt it will open in theatres around here anytime soon but if and when you'll be first one to know.
