No Country for Old Men
Dare I? Yes, the movie is better than the book. However, the poem is best. That said, No Country for Old Men is exemplary in its combination of art house subtleties, chase suspense, and shoot-'em-up thrills. What NCFOM lacks in realism is made up for with mysticism, that is, Anton Chigurh, and ultimately, philosophical reflection. It is a quality double feature along with The Good, the Bad and the Ugly.Style
