http://www.youtube.com/user/nelsondgeorge?feature=mhum#p/f This is the teaser trailer to an indie film I'm shooting myself on a Canon 60D. It is called Migrations and its about black art thieves and the mutability of identity for children of the African Diaspora.

Been a busy year film wise. A documentary I co-directed called Brooklyn Boheme received some funds via Kickstarter. Not enough to finish but enough to pay for more shoot days to add some visual grace notes to the piece. It looks at the 1980s and '90s in my neighborhood when a community of young black artists lived and ceased there, including Spike Lee, Lawrence Fishburne, Wesley Snipes and Rosie Perez. Also been piecing together an indie film called Migrations. Did some shooting in Berlin, Paris and London. Will post more details on that project in the months to come.

Just launched my on line web series, Left Unsaid (www.leftunsaidseries.com). It debuted as a feature last week at the American Black Film Festival in Miami, but was written and shot to live on line as a 19 episode web series. 15 women met through Facebook and hook up for brunch in a Brooklyn brownstone, which social networking, gentrification, race and love are the chief topics of conversation. Please check out Left Unsaid.
